NFF Stands Financially Stable
This foundation was started in 1987 with a vision and a small amount of industry’s financial support. It was developed for the exclusive purpose of strengthening the foliage industry and although, over the years the foundation’s focus has broadened to reach new audiences, it has never lost sight of the importance of research and education. A conservative approach taken by the NFF Board of Directors has allowed the portfolio value of NFF’s fund to weathered an ever-fluctuating financial market and changing market influences. Due to careful planning, foliage members will reap the rewards of the board’s stewardship far into the future.
With a portfolio value of $2.1 million, the annual interest earned from the endowments provides funding in three significant areas; research, scholarships and a newly developed graduate assistantship program.
